When: April 15-17, 2005
Cost: Approximately $25 per person. ($10 for troops attending Saturday only.)
Pre-registration is $10 per person, non-refundable, due March 7.
Space is limited, so first come first served!
The final cost will be determined when we know whether we will be cooking in the dining hall or not, and if so, how much the cooks will be, and will include some meals and a participation patch (more information as soon as I know). The remainder is due April 4 at the neighborhood meeting.

Get ready!    We are having a spring Neighborhood Encampment again this year at Willow Springs, a beautiful Girl Scout camp located outside of Prescott, about 1 1/2 hours from Scottsdale. It's a very large camp and I'm sure you all will love it when you see it. Most everyone will sleep in a cabin or building, although there is one platform tent unit.

Our theme: "The Natural Arts."    We will plan a wide game on Saturday morning to reflect the theme. Saturday afternoon is wide open for troop activities, so you can take a hike, work on a badge, or whatever you wish. Saturday evening, we will have a campfire for all to enjoy. The challenge course is available for troops aged 12 or in 6th grade. We need volunteers to help plan the program--please email Lee (lee@reality.com).

Meals!  This has not yet been determined. We will either be hiring a cook to cook for us in the dining hall, or we will be cooking out in groups. More information coming soon.

Swaps!  Once again, we will have a swap exchange. Please prepare your swaps around a wilderness/camping/outdoors theme or the encampment theme. We suggest that each girl bring at least ten swaps, but that's up to you and your troop.

Patches!  Please note the form for the Patch Design Contest. Once again, we will be selecting the best design created by our girls for our Encampment patch. Designs are due at the encampment and the girls will vote on their patch.

More information at the Neighborhood Meeting!    The full registration packet will be distributed in March. In it, you will find detailed information including directions to the camp, the schedule, the menu, and so forth. Troop camping assignments will be available a week or two before the encampment.

Hope to see y’all there!
